For making clear: This catastrophe is the last thing we expect happening in our, or anyone’s lifetime.
Does anyone think the US would admit to using highly potent radioactive weapons against civilians, individuals or groups? I guess not. But I know that in the newspapers of the 1950s and 60s you could read about individuals in the Soviet Union being hospitalized and complaining of ”radioactive gas”! Searching the articles today is futile. It looks like they have been washed out.
