About thick books 22 April -17

After months of reading the book of Lenin on 600 pages, I found that it seems like some authors write extremely big books about dictators, so that people wont read them all through. There can even be some true, critical,  examination, negative conclusions, although the writer is a fan of the subject. Lenin by Hélène Carrère d’Encausse is one of the most dry books I have ever read. It’s like a scientific research, extremely boring. Of course they can say, we didn’t hide anything, read the book and see for yourself, but as I see it, the important facts could have been compressed into 100 pages.

The other two in the pile is waiting, hope the content is more easy to assimilate.
